Dominate the Competition with TempMaster® Omni™ Premier

Dominate Your Sandbox!

The applied rooftop market size exceeds $500M in revenue each year. How do you win more sales and reach your targets? The simple answer is "spec blockers."

Omni™ Premier rooftop units directly compete against IntelliPak, Rebel Applied, and WeatherMaster units.  Often, we only look at the options as the source of the specification blocker.  However, Omni Premier rooftop units have a commanding lead with standard IEER which forces our competitors to use their high-efficiency units to compete.  When writing specifications, include "Meet DOE 2023 requirements today!" Customers will then avoid purchasing a competitor's soon-to-be-obsolete product.  Another key advantage is to couple our packaged products with start-up services, commissioning tools, and seamless building integration capability.  When placing your order, ensure you request the total TempMaster® solution.

Configurability is another advantage that is often overlooked.  Avoid losing the job through price-driven value engineering by specifying critical advantages in five crucial areas: capacity, functionality, configuration, weight, and electrical. Sell the customer benefit instead of a valueless option.

Capacity  -  Tons versus MBH

All packaged units are initially selected on capacity.  Even though a competitor's unit may have the same tonnage, they do NOT have the same capacity!  Change the game by promoting our integrated Energy Recovery solution to augment capacity for 25-50% outside air quantiles. This solution can effectively reduce loads by a full size - couple this with high efficiency and high capacity to deliver more value to the end-user.

Functionality – It's more than a box

Customers purchase comfort, not compressors, fans, and contractors.  Specify stable part load temperature control with superior capacity control for compressors, heaters, and airflow.  Highlight clean indoor air utilizing the IAQ options, including UVC lights, MERV 17 filters, CO2 control, humidity control – hot gas reheat and/or humidifiers, outdoor air CFM control, and no exposed insulation construction.  Promote low energy usage by specifying economizers and integrated energy recovery wheels.  And don't forget to specify the configurable field sequence of operation, ensuring the unit works the way the customer needs it to work!

Configuration – Make it easy

Each person who interacts with our equipment is a customer with different needs. You can accommodate their requirements by leveraging the maintenance team's expertise. Specify maintenance-friendly options such as unit service lights, hinged access doors, single point handles, viewports, and replaceable core filter.  Likewise, meet the needs of installing contractors by specifying outlets, versatile discharge options, split-ship construction, and guided start-up using the RTUToolkit app to make the job easier to install.

Weight – It's more than a number!

Customers want to know if the unit will fit their building.  Take advantage of the REVIT files, DXF drawings, and unit clearances in the specification.  Each item can make or break an opportunity.

Electrical – Avoid a zap!

Forcing a competitor to use a slightly larger unit can easily translate into a larger MCA/MOP.  Other essential options include power disconnects, VFD line reactors, high SCCR, dual power connections, phase loss protection, and other items that affect the electrical system.  To boost longevity, we use electrical items that support a 20-year lifespan.
